Consultant Plastic Surgeon at Aurora Clinics Ms Anne Dancey describes the type of scarring you can expect to see following breast uplift surgery.

For more information on breast uplift surgery please visit our website:

Transcript – The scar following a breast uplift sits around the areola, vertically down and then in the crease underneath the breast. It tends to settle very well and scars are very rarely thick or red but this needs to be something that’s considered. The scar around the areola is often the most visible and that can be tattooed with micropigmentation should the scarring be a bit thicker or a bit paler than your normal skin.

It may be a LOT of work, but it’ll totally be worth it when your supply comes back! Just try not to stress out (easier said than done, right!?!), and get ready to cozy up to your pump for a while. Fun stuff! And don’t be too hard on yourself…do what you can and what’s best for YOU, your baby and your family.
Let me know if you have any questions! I’m always happy to help!
